Can things be in motion and we just wait?
The narrative today centers on action: do this, do that, do something — anything but wait…
But what’s wrong with waiting?
Does momentum stop while we wait? Or do we struggle to justify our existence when it does? Which is it?
The mind torments those who wait. It crucifies them for their lack of ambition to move. It shames them for their idling…
We take so much pride in the busyness of life that we ignore its silences.
Why that may be? And how did we get here…
Languish without judgment.
Wait without anticipation.
Live without a need.
For judgment begets the worst of us in anticipation of a need we often don’t really want but still feel its pressure nonetheless.
And when it doesn’t look like you are doing anything… probably that’s because you aren’t…when the game gets going you can’t do much about it… (Ted Lasso slipping through here)
And I will leave it to you to decide where and when the game starts and ends and when you find neither you can relax because you are onto something now.
Until the next ❤️ beat ~.~.~
Gracias 🙏🏼
