Rush or slow down. Which poison to sate the thirst?
We run into the world optimizing for the maximum we can capture of our dwindling time. Living for the perception, we rush or slow down.
We optimize every moment and fill it without an eye shut or dormant.
We crave the change, the killer of monotony in its unforgiving silence, to the constant stimuli that widens the moment so the guilt loses its torment.
What a mystery that sates the mind in a perception that fools the kind into thinking the pill is a remedy rather than a poison masked in agony.
For the pendulum will swing and the rush will fade in the moment it made, to swing again and languish to no end waiting for the slow it sought to sate and mend.
Until the next ❤️ beat ~.~.~
