Off you go from the daybreak, the running starts. Traffic, coffee, meetings, kids dropped, hustle, and hustle till the night comes for a reprieve.
A glass of wine, bingeing on your next TV show, a game on your phone to dull your mind, or whatever gets you off the bandwagon that has been pulling you all day long.
And if it is not that, it’s the endless scrolling on feeds, feeding these micro attention grabbers to wean off the drugs of the day from anxiety, rush, anger, and grind.
All of that is happening every day, yet we rarely see it. What we see is the time we waste on these nasty, nasty technology mind hacks.
The ones we attribute the demise of our society to. The ones to blame every time. The ones that sit outside us and are easy targets.
Yet we never indulge the thought that it’s a society of no space, breathing room, and hustle that robbed us of the moments we keep romanticizing from nature, reading a book, or whatever virtue finds itself in that category.
If there was no need to decompress, would it be any different? I will leave it up to you to judge.
Until the next ❤️ beat ~.~.~
So much more convenient to blame the tech 😇
