#323 A cup of tea
A cup of tea asked me to see
What simmers behind this me
It couldn’t wait for the answer
So it answered on behalf of me
I see you, but you can’t see me
I feel you, but you can’t feel me
I catch your breath before its death
All the while you are running to catch the next
It’s sad I never call you mine
But you always are searching for time
To spill me over when I’m hot and cold
To sip me slowly without being told
I asked of you nothing
I shared with you everything
And still in the winter of old
Your smile ran shy and cold
Telling me to see what you’ve already seen
I’m the cup of tea, not the endless dream
Here in your hands, caring for a dance
To wisp you back home and break this trance
Can you wake up now and find me again
For the tea ran its end, asking for a friend.
Until the next ❤️ beat ~.~.~
